There is a black color block over my text box

    Hi! Today a black color block appeared that is covering my text (not the photos) and preventing me from editing any and all of my blogposts.

    Hi there,

    On which site in your account is this happening, and can you tell us the title of the specific post where you’re seeing this?

    Also please take a screen shot of what you see, and upload it to the site’s media library. We’ll be able to see it there.

    Hi! Thank you ever so much for responding. The black box is appearing on all the posts and pages of my satin and sand site as of yesterday. The public view does not show this. It appears that I can type beneath it but I can hardly see the type. I will upload an image to my media library.

    Hello! I looked into this and no matter which post I try to edit I cannot get the black box to appear. We’ll need your help.

    Could you try to pass us the following?

    2. What computer and web browser are you using currently? For example, are you on a PC using Windows 10 and Google’s Chrome web browser?

    3. Does this black box show up in the editor view of any of the other sites on your account?

    Hi!
    I took two screenshots of 2 different blog posts and uploaded them to my media library of satinandsand. I am using a Mac with Safari. This black box (block) shows up on all my blogpost posts and even my pages (in the editor format but not in the public view – but very difficult to edit trying to read the type through the black color). The black box seems to lie under the photo as well.
    I hope you can fix this problem soon.

    As you can see from the screenshot below the post in your screenshots is displayed correctly on my end. Both in the preview and in the editor.

    I believe that this is an issue with your browser so I suggest trying the following:

    * Clear your browser’s cache:

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    * Check that JavaScript is enabled and supported by your browser:

    * Disable any ad-blocking and security extensions on your browser

    * Check that you’re using the latest version of your browser:

    http://www.whatbrowser.org/

    * Try another browser:

    https://browsehappy.com/
