I have tried clicking all the places that are suggested but still the unwelcome Emails come every day from Social Work Tutor – Social Work Tutor <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>

Hi there,
You are blocking us from sending you any subscription emails, so you shouldn’t be receiving emails from any site on WordPress.com.
According to our logs the only emails we’ve sent you in the past month is a subscription email for the site, The Steeple Times, and right after that you blocked all subscription emails and the only others we’ve sent you are related to your forum posts.
What is the exact URL of the site from which you’re trying to unsubscribe?

Thanks for the response – your explanation makes sense – I was blocking stuff I was interested in to stop stuff that came too often with this email address

I don’t see that site in your email subscriptions at all. Is it possible that you might have subscribed using a different email address that is forwarding it to the address you use for this username? Or at which address are you receiving the emails?
If you type the email address on its own line it will be hidden automatically, but I’ll still be able to see it.
Or what you can also try: Log out of your WordPress.com account completely, and clear your browser cache and cookies. Then click the Unsubscribe link in the email.
If you signed up on that site using a different email address, the unsubscribe link is not working as it only takes you back to your account if you’re logged it. If you’re logged out it should connect to the settings for the correct email.

Yes it is a different email address and I was confused about that as well , as I thought I tried tu unsub using that other email, but following the link brought me to WordPress via the email address I am noe using.
However those blogs come to my
(email visible only to moderators and staff)
email address.

Thank you for the address. You were indeed subscribed to socialworktutor.com via that email address. I see three more pending subscriptions for that email, but no active ones, so you shouldn’t receive any more emails via that address.
It’s safe to unblock subscriptions again via your account settings so you can receive emails from those sites you are following.

One more thing – please – kokkieh – how can I see the wordpress accounts I have subscribed to from (email visible only to moderators and staff)?
I realised I had subscribed to the socialworktutor one – but I a bit confused at having got my own email addresses muddled – but I doubt I am the only person ever to do that?

Log out of WordPress.com completely, then go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/
On that page enter the email address. You’ll be sent a link via email, and you can view the subscriptions via that link.
As I mentioned, the subscriptions still on that email are pending, meaning you never clicked the link in the confirmation email. You should be able to resend the link, if you still want to be subscribed to those sites, or you can delete them from the list there.
You are definitely not the only person to ever subscribe via multiple emails like this. I’ve done it myself :)
