There is a line across my embedded youtube video on my site. How to remove?
-
There is a black line running across the embedded video, about 1/3 of the way down. This just appeared. How can I get rid of it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey yipps,
I looked on three different OS X browsers and I did not see the black line. Is it still there for you?
-
-
Yes, it’s still there. I sent you a photo, can’t seem to get it onto this box. Did you get it (I hit “reply” to your email)
-
Nope. You will have to share it differently.
You could upload it to your media library, and give out the URL to your image. Or you could use a service like Cloudup.
-
Oh! Okay. I’ve uploaded to the media library (never thought of that). Here’s the link: https://(email visible only to moderators and staff)

Nope, that didn’t work, here it is again: https://yipps.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/2015-08-14-at-12-24-57.jpg

Nice work on the image.
What operating system are you using? What browser and version is this occurring on? Can you replicate this in a different browser?

OS X 10.10.5 and Chrome (Version 44.0.2403.155 (64-bit)) does not produce the black line. What version of Chrome are you using?
-
I don’t have Yosemite on purpose — I have the version before that. I can’t upgrade to that latest because of other issues: so I’m using OX 10.8.5; NOT 10.10.5. The line does not appear when I use Safari.
The Chrome version I’m using is: Version 44.0.2403.155 (64-bit) -
This line just suddenly appeared yesterday out of the blue. Two days earlier I had another computer problem which continues: the right hand slide which allows you to scroll down the page easily does not appear unless I hit the down arrow first. This occurs whether it’s an internet document or a computer generated document. I wonder if these two issues are related? Janet

I was curious about my Chrome and YouTube.
Does your Chrome support everything as mine does?
Does it play the video without the line?
-
-
I got this on a Mac using Chrome. Turned out to be my Chrome settings – I had the page zoom set to 110%.
-
In Chrome, go to Settings, scroll down to advanced and look for Web Content. Check the Page Zoom setting. Set it to 100% if it isn’t already.
-
Where might I find “Settings”? The closest thing I can find is “preferences” which does not have a “settings” button.
-
Ah! Okay, I know how to reduce the screen to 100% without going through “settings”. YES, by reducing to 100% the line goes away. I wonder why? Can we get rid of that line at 110%? Janet
