'there is a plugin update available' error?

    i see the yellow ‘there is a plugin update available’ notice at the top of my left-side-of-page toolbar. when i click on it, the page updates to my settings page, but i can’t access my plugins page. i’ve used both safari & chrome, but the issue is the same in both browers. please let me know what information you need to help me get the update applied and to regain access to the plugins page. thanks so much!

    It looks like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress.org site instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

    I would recommend searching on the WordPress.org support forums for similar issues. If you cannot find anything that works, you can start your own thread. The forums are completely separate from each other, so you will need to register an account there if you haven’t done so already.
