There is a problem with my website

    I No matter what I do I cannot log onto my website. Im not technically savey, but every email, password is not working so I cant fix the problem, I can get through for help..is there a live chat. I have no codes to verify my account either as it was set up by an amatuer web designer just before Covid hit in 2020

    I recieved lots of emails saying there was a problem with my website. And because it was set up by someone else who couldnt complte his job due to the pandemic, I have no information to verify that the account is mine apart from the fact I pay one.com for the domain.

    It wont recognise any of my emails . I have previously had blogs on wordpress, but not a domain.
    One.com have told me the following:

    For you to downgrade the PHP version to 7.4, kindly go to the Control Panel > Advanced Settings > PHP & Database Settings > PHP version. Once done, kindly allow to wait up to 30 minutes in order for the changes to take effect.

    Thanks for that. Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted at One.com.

    We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    Your site login here at WordPress.com is a different login than the one you would use to log into your website. Your website login page can be found here:

    If you don’t remember your password, you can use the “lost password” link on that login page to reset the password if you provide the correct username or email address for your account.

    You can also reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you regain access to your site.
