There is no Catagory ‘headline’ to assign my post to – Please help
-
I searched the forum and found the same question; “I can’t find the place to assign the catagory when I’m writing a new entry. Thanks!”.
The response was to use the Catogory ‘headline’ at the right of the posting-box. There isn’t one. No headlines or buttons for Catagory.
My posts seem to be listed under ‘Pages’. How can I tranfer/link them into a Catagory?
Thankyou,

Thank you. Pages, being static, cannot be categorized. You will probably want to convert to Posts instead. Unfortunately, the only way to do this is copy and paste, one at a time. This post has more details explaining the differences:

You’re welcome. Depending on how much you’ve already got up, you could be in for a lot of work.

Hi,
I think I’ve got it now.
I’ve *posted* my entries into New Posts and selected the Catagory for them. Then deleted the Pages.Thank you… :)

You’re welcome. That should help you a great deal with visibility and navigation and so on. Be sure to put the Category widget in your sidebar as well.
