There is no Store function in my Dashboard

    I am trying to set my blog up as a subdomain – I can’t see a “Store” function in my dashboard to allow me to link WordPress to my domain as per the instructions. Can you help please. Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    monsteryarns, log in through monsteryarn.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ then you will see a menu on the left side with a shopping cart on it, the store is in there.

    Best regards.

    I am continuing this thread because I have spent a lot of time searching for the Store, and I do not have it on my site: tidytack.wordpress.com.

    I have logged in, and I see the left hand column with Dashboard (Home, Comments, Site Stats, My Blogs, Blogs), Posts, Media, Links, Pages, Comments, Feedbacks, Profile, Tools and Settings. There is no Store listed here.

    Also, at the bottom of this Forum Page, I see a footer that says “Do More” with a link to Features, Store, Themes and Developers. I tried to get into the Store using this link. I went to Custom Domains, and clicked on Get a Domain, but it does not take me anywhere.

    I have a domain name through GoDaddy, and I have already pointed the nameservers as per WordPress directions. I need to purchase the domain mapping upgrade somehow.

    Any help? Thanks so much.

    You must have a free hosted WordPress.COM blog in order to make any purchases from Dashboard > Store

    You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the WordPress.COM blog in question to to make any purchases from Dashboard > Store

    To purchase a domain mapping upgrade follow these instructions if you already have a domain that you registered elsewhere, and you want to map that domain to your free hosted wordpress.com blog.

    Note: After you make the domain mapping purchase and do the set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet.

    @TT – just need to be an Admin not owner –

    I have a cookie blog that I use for cookie recipes and such – I was editor on the blog with this name – just logged out and logged in as my evil twin and promoted my other self to Admin – I now have all the Store functions for my cookie blog

    @auxclass
    Hopefully I’ll remember that. Counting on you to catch me up if I don’t.

    You be welcome – if they buy an upgrade they do need to remember which account bought it, as that is the only account that can transfer or renew and upgrade – the correct account has tripped up several people the last few weeks

    Have a nice afternoon – I am out to get rained on now
