There is no way to cancel my domain and get refunded. Is wordpress.com a scam??

  I am trying to cancel my domain. It’s still within 48 hours now. When I click Cancel and Refund button in My Upgrades page, there is a pop up saying Domains registered on WordPress.com cannot be deleted here. You must contact Support and request deletion.
  When I go to contact us page, there is no way I can contact anyone in wordpress. For online chat, I need to upgrade to Premium. WTF is this?? I got really pissed off
