Go to options > general and under “memebership deselect “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” and then click “update options.”

I’m not noticing trouble with comments, but the graphics in my blogs seem NOT to be displaying. When I access either blog from either IE6 or FF, I get what looks more like a Word Doc.
Even on this forum, the avatars are not showing. But I’m fine anywhere else but WordPress.
And I had to get here by a very convoluted path. None of my shortcuts are working, and the pages take literally minutes to load. I wondered whether they were experiencing another DOS attack. But I don’t see anything else about it here.
I’m paranoid, so I always assume that these problems are caused by Senator Susan Collins and her paid hack, Lance Dutson. I suppose that a US Seantor’s paid troll might have some sophisticated bad guys at his beck and call….
(Umm… if that is the case, then, like, I’m <i>really</i> sorry, y’know ;-))
Of course DOS attacks aren’t too sophisticated.
I honestly appreciate this affordable means to get the truth out!
