there is no www. in my domain

I have purchased a premium and used a domain without wordpress..com inlcuded.
The problem i am having is understanding if the domaim should have a www. at the beginning! I have tried with my google webmaster tools for adding www and without for search engines, but when i used the free domain that came with the prremium it would allow me to input www.
My ulr at the moment is 4kfreelance.com

when i search for 4kfreelance or http://www.4kfreelance on google it does not appear at the top if at all. Will it take 72 hours? or do i have to make changes in google webmaster or something like that?

SEO is great on WordPress.com without your having to do anything special other than post. The longer your blog exists, the more you post, and the more people who visit it, the higher it should climb in Google’s rankings.

Is it a problem using the $99 premium blog as a website? Because i created one using the free plan then upgraded. I couldn’t afford the website package!

Also…i am really having problems with searching for the website by typing just 4k freelance, i get the social pages showing on the search engine first. I have to put 4kfreelance.com for the website to show on the search engine first. This not helpful if anyone wants to input 4k freelance. I have only been doing webmaster and others today plus the new domain…is that the reason? thanks ever so much helping me!
