There is only room for 3 widgets on my page???

How can I add another widget? I would like to have the email subscription section to be it’s own widget – but for now I’ve added it to my Gravatar – because I can’t figure out how to add a new one. It will only let me drag 3 over to the widget sidebar. Am I missing something obvious??
Any suggestions?

Sometimes you have to sort of move your mouse around in the sidebar area to get the grey outlined box to appear, then you can release the mouse button.
You can put as many widgets as you want into the sidebar. See my test blog: http://flippintestblog.wordpress.com/ .
Put the email subscription information into a text widget as explained here: http://support.wordpress.com/email-subscriptions/
