    Hi, I was editing my website today and came across an error for my Instagram feed, when I wanted to re-establish the connection, it showed this message ‘There was a problem exchanging an Instagram access token for a long lived one. I have disconnected and reconnected many times but it still doesn’t work. What should I do?

    Hi there!

    There’s a connection issue that has originated from Instagram’s end that is affecting embeds and other Instagram integrations. This is affecting not only our services but plugins and other website software as well unfortunately, so it’s a widespread issue due to some change or outage on Instagram’s end.

    This resource is intended for developers, but for example here is one issue that has been reported to Facebook (who also owns Instagram) to make their developers aware of the situation so they can resolve it: https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/507909507159962/?join_id=fbc5364a05f3b8

    Our developers are keeping a close eye on this and will make any necessary adjustments once the issues are resolved on Instagram’s side, if there are any. For now we’ll need to wait until Instagram makes changes on their end before our integrations will work again.

    Thank you for your response, I highly appreciate it :) I see, I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this problem. I hope it gets rectified soon, for now I’ll have to use the single post embed block.
