There was an ad placed on my posting

    I have a wordpress.com blog titled Humor and Aging(HA!). Today I put up a posting on The Aging Spectrum- and when I looked at it, at the bottom of the posting it said ‘This post is ad-supported’ – followed by an ad from AARP.
    I never agreed to any ad supports for my postings. What is this about, and how can I get it changed?

    Ads are placed by WordPress.com on free sites. It helps them to keep free sites free. Upgrading to a paid plan is the only way to avoid your site displaying adverts.
