  In that no one has touched it for five years or submitted a single post. I have tried posting a comment but I cannot directly contact the claimer of said domain, would it be possible to retrieve it if it is inactive? The domain is http://www.deathistheroadtoawe.wordpress.com

  An easier way might be to go for “deathistheroad2awe” or something similar.

  the only way to get an existing blog URL is to contact the owner – you are on your own for that – WordPress.COM will not help you for privacy reasons – try leaving a comment on the blog
