There's a porn ad on my site!
-
Today a friend on another forum told me that at the bottom of my most recent post, she saw an ad in Spanish with a video link. The text said to click on the link to watch a father’s reaction to his daughter stripping for a webcam. Her butt was on camera, showing on my site.
I can’t copy the link address, so I’ve saved the whole thing to a file in case there’s anything on it that can help you figure out where it came from and how it got on my blog. Apparently there are ads on my blog all the time, for diapers and all sorts of things. I don’t see them, and I didn’t know they were there.
If it’s WordPress’s policy to post ads on blogs without telling the blogger, I’m annoyed and disappointed. But I DON’T want sexually explicit or even sexually suggestive ads on my blog. It’s a writing blog, not a sex blog.
What’s happening here and how can I stop it? If I can’t I’m going to switch to another blogging site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements, and the agreement for this has been in our terms of service since 2006.
We try hard to only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/
However, ads of a pornographic nature are not something that we want to be showing. Please contact us via support@wordpress.com with a screenshot and any other details that you have so we can file a complaint with our ad provider.

“However, ads of a pornographic nature are not something that we want to be showing.”
Glad to hear it MacManx. Even though I have the Ad Free upgrade, I do not want to think that the platform I am using is showing ads of this nature anywhere, as it would impact on the reputation of ALL of the authors on WP.
Please update us with what WP manage to achieve to ensure there are no repeats.

I’m feeling very very sad since I’ve seen a porn ad on my educational blog. Emailed to Support, but what if it was showing for last couple of months?

I would feel not only sad but very annoyed if any porn was shown on my site
So, what is wordpress .com doing about it!Cheers

We can ask our advertising partners to remove offensive ads. If you see any, please take a screenshot of them and send them directly to us at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ or support@wordpress.com
If you use the contact form, you can upload a screenshot to your media library and we can find it there. Here is some information about how to make a screenshot:

While it’s not porn, my blog is now sporting one of those ridiculous “Your City Mom’s £5 Wrinkle Secret. Doctors Hate Her!” ads.
I feel like this just drags the entire blog down in to the gutter.
I recognise and support your need to use advertising to fund WP.com, but do you really need to do it with get-rich-quick schemes?

@designsimply I was on my mobile when I saw that ad. I forgot to take a screen-shot but I had sent you (support) some additional informations.
