These stupid "like" people

I just made a post and as soon as i published it BEFORE I EVEN HAD CHANCE TO READ IT PUBLISHED AND EVEN LOAD IT UP MYSELF A PERSON HAD ALREADY LIKED IT! right so a person can read a long article in 1 less than a second?
I don’t mind if there was a person who actually had read my article and though they would like it? But here on wordpress people must have bots that like everything!!! My articles are health related and all my like come from other health people… They must do it for seo purposes as when you like something you get a link on that website to your own! EVEN THOUGH THAT HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING THEY GET A FREE BACKLINK… WORDPRESS AT LEAST MAKE SOME SORT OF SYSTEM WHERE IF THEY LIKE SOMETHING ON THERE BLOG OR PROFILE IT SAYS BLAHA JUST LIKED THIS….? or something atleast…

Try a search of the forums before you post;you’ll find your answer WITHOUT HAVING TO USE ALL CAPS LIKE YOU ARE HYSTERICAL or summat.

That last reply was interesting (trying to abide by WP rules)! This is a WordPress issue and it’s annoying. I call them competitive likers as they want you to come and comment on their site for stats or to sell you some garbage–don’t! I know it sucks but you can remove the option to like posts (even within your blog) in the dashboard–think it’s in settings> general? I have problems online as I have low vision and can’t see certain things well–sorry! You’re only other option that I know of is to just ignore them (so hard)! FYI, I added a disclosure page to my blog for comments, etc. (and included this issue), but they just go through new posts in the reader, which has a like and reblog button on your post (you don’t even have to open it I don’t think). Getting rid of that, people at WP, would do wonders! Sorry you’re dealing with these idiots! I’m not very happy with WP right now, either. :-(
