  I am new to wordpress, but have added it to my bigcommerce website. i need to figure out a way to make my recent posts from wordpress show up on a third party site. Is there a plugin for that? Mind you, I need someone to answer me like I’m 5 years old. Sorry upfront.

  Hi, just to clarify, are you looking for a plugin that add something to your BigCommerce site? If so I’d recommend checking with their support, but you can tell them you will have an “RSS Feed” from your blog that you can use.

  actually, i have spoken with BigCommerce’s support a dozen times on this topic and they cannot help me. I was told to try to make it happen from wordpress.

  In the middle of the page, there is a section for my “recent posts.” I cannot connect those to my WP blog; they are still connected to my BigCommerce blog.

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with BigCommerce.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  Thank you. I am on a chat with someone from WordPress right now to verify if I can make this happen. I don’t mind paying for WordPress.com to make it happen.

  Payment or not, this won’t be something we’ll be able to fix.

  As mentioned, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
