Third party theme installation issue

  I have recently tried installing the X theme by themeco onto my WordPress site however every time I do it automatically becomes my active theme on dashboard and I am then unable to activate any other theme until I manually delete the X theme from my FTP. If any one could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

  This seems to be a selfhosted installation, as WordPress.com do not allow FTP access (https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/).

  Please send a message to the theme developers. You can also create a post on WordPress.org forums (https://wordpress.org/support/).
