  something fundamentally wrong with not highlighting from the very start, that no third party website theme designs can be utilised on WordPress. Suggest this is highlighted when purchasing as now I have a fantastic design that is part of the companies overall brand, marketing etc that cbd: has taken time & effort putting together that I currently cannot utilise

  There are also 186 Premium (paid) WordPress Themes https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/premium/

  The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software, which is different from wordpress.ORG software, are the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

  There is no upgrade you can buy here that changes that.
