    Hi there,

    I wanted to follow up with you. This is a known error where the AMP plugin affects image-related blocks on Gutenburg 17.3. We’re looking into the issue, but in the meantime, you can deactivate the AMP plugin to resolve the error.

    I deactivated the AMP plugin and I am still receiving the error message. It happens when I am trying to add from media section to a block.

    I deactivated the AMP plugin and this has solved the problem (which was to do with the video block).
    Can you update this message thread when the underlying problem is solved so I can re-activate AMP

    Thank you, everyone, for your patience. This issue is now fixed, and you should be able to reactivate the AMP plugin if you wish. The AMP plugin was used to create mobile-friendly sites.     I’m having this issue as well. I get the message “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” with every block I try to edit, including simple text only paragraphs. Deactivating the Gutenberg block builder plugin did not solve the problem.

    @deazoff, it seems you don’t have any WordPress.com hosted sites under your account. The fixes mentioned were for sites hosted here.
