I have a client who is looking to create a business blog and they would like oregonfruit.wordpress.com. The system said the domain name has been suspended. Any chance we could get the site released to us? We were not associated with the original blog site or were cause for the initial suspension. Is it even possible to recover the domain?

The company is Oregon Fruit Products (www.oregonfruit.com) located in Salem Oregon. Please call me directly for any questions: (503) 709-1454.

    Thank You.

No, wordpress does not give out deleted or suspended URL’s to anyone. Once they are suspended or deleted, they are gone forever.

You also need to review these documents, as there are restrictions on what a business can do here at wordpress.COM.

I appreciate your first reply; your second reply is considered a bit odd, however. Probably because I feel like you are jumping to a conclusion without all the facts… Never-the-less, I do appreciate your replying to my post.

    All the best,

PS: My number is about if you wish to discuss my response in private–no sense taking any more band width online.

Ed, I’m not jumping to a conclusion, I just want to make sure that you and your client are aware of the restrictions here before you put a bunch of time and effort into it. I’ve seen many business blogs here suspended due to violations of the terms of service and restrictions simply because the blogger did not know.
