This Connection is Untrusted error
-
When I am not in WP Admin — writing a blog, but click on View Site, I get this message. I can click on View Site from WP Admin and it takes me to my blog without the error message. What’s up?
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to independentamericancommunities.com, but we can’t confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.
What Should I Do?If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn’t continue.
domain_name.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
*.wordpress.com, wordpress.com(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
If you understand what’s going on, you can tell Firefox to start trusting this site’s identification. Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is tampering with your connection.
Don’t add an exception unless you know there’s a good reason why this site doesn’t use trusted identification.

Custom domains hosted on WordPress.com currently do not have support for https. It sounds like one of the links is including https at the beginning. For example: https://independentamericancommunities.com gives that error message, but http://independentamericancommunities.com does not.

Thank you. Does that require me to take any specific action? I’ve been using this blog for months and never got this error message before today.
How can I fix this?

On that error page, you can click “I understand the risks”, then click the “Add Exception” button to stop Firefox from showing the error message.
