'This day in blog history' widget

  An idea for a widget:
  A widget that displays posts from a particular day, in a different year. I’ve seen a section like this in a newspaper, called ‘This day, that age’. May not be much in demand, but some people may like a ‘wayback machine’ or a ‘blast from the past’ kind of section.

  I am sorry but we cannot use JavaScript widgets https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and there are no in house widgets that do what you suggest.
