I was suppose to launch a print collection today and would really like help with my domain. I only received 1 renewal notice (which confused me as I pay every January to renew my domain) via e-mail. On wordpress website, it says I should’ve been notified well over 4-5 times, which I wasn’t. Is it possible to receive support for this prior to 24hr-48hr period?

  • Hi there!

It seems that the card on your account expired, we have sent you numerous emails notifying about that and about the domain renewal. Since you say you haven’t received those, they probably ended up in your spam/junk folder.

We may still be able to recover the domain paremilie.com if we hurry. I’ve already sent you an email where you can pay for the renewal fee. After you’ve done that, please let us know here and we’ll start the recovery process right away. Since that will depend on our domain partner, I can’t say how long it will take, but they usually reply within 48h.

    Hi,

Is it possible to e-mail me via (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

Any link sent to my other e-mail address is not sending me to the proper web-page.

A new e-mail has been added to my account

  • Hi there,

We can only send emails to the address connected to the account, and currently, the email you just provided is not yet connected to the account.

If you want to update your email address, please visit our support page for instructions:

    Change your email address

    Thanks,

    Hi,

When I try to put it my credit card info, it says there was an error. This is not an expired card. Regardless, in my history, it says
    “Jan 3, 2019
    Domain Registration
    paremilie.com
    View ReceiptEmail Receipt”

I don’t understand why my website is inactive when I’ve paid and it’s gone through…

One more thing, when I open the link for renewal, it says: You appear to have wandered onto the Automattic payment page.

Even if I copy&paste the URL from the email, the same page comes up over and over.

I’m just feeling defeated, my website is my source of income at this moment, and it’s been inactive for 1 week now.

Update, I’ve managed to update my credit card. I still need a link that functions to renew my domain. Like I mentionned, whenever I click the link for automattic payments, the same message appears and there’s no payment option

  • Just in case the wrong request was sent, I have sent a new one.

Please let us know if that works out any differently for you.

If it still fails, please provide a screenshot of what you see at the link using https://snipboard.io/

Update, received payment. There’s an $80 late fee. I can’t afford that during this time, can it be waived?

  • Unknown's avatar

Yes, I received it. The issue is, I’m not using the e-mail address associated with the wordpress account. I didn’t receive any renewal notices to my new e-mail which I’ve tried to change it to.

  • Your domain paremilie.com expired on February 2. We sent several email warnings both before and shortly after it expired.

Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 90 days. You can learn more about expired domains here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/

The good news is that we are still able to recover your domain, as it is currently in the Redemption period: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period

The $80 late fee is charged by our domain partner and is not one which we can waive. That’s in addition to your annual domain renewal from us, so the total is going to be $98.

Once the payment is sent, please reply here to let us know, and we will send a note to our domain partner regarding paremilie.com. This process only takes about 2-3 days start to finish.

What I was trying to say is that I do not check the email that is associate with my WordPress account therefore I did not see the notices. I received 1 notice to my current e-mail address, but I was convinced it was a spam message because I have my payments set on auto. Who is the WordPress domain partner? I simply cannot afford the $80 fee at this time… I would like to contact them and see if it can be waived

  • Our domain partner is Wild West Domains. You can reach them at https://www.wildwestdomains.com/ but since this fee is not controlled by us, it cannot be waived by us.

    Thank you for your help

  • Unknown's avatar

is it possible to release the domain so that I can purchase it again?

  • No, the domain’s release is entirely up to Wild West Domains and usually takes about 90 days from expiration.

Do they have a toll free number?

I’m trying to login to my account and the webpage keeps crashing. I’m just having a difficult time with all of this. I understand if you can’t help with that.

  • You won’t have an account with them, that’s for their partners, like us.

The only way I know of to get a hold of them is the phone number at the top of https://www.wildwestdomains.com/
