This domain is parked – French user

    Hi,

    I’m French user of WordPress.
    I registered a “.fr” and “.com” domain name in February 2021. Then, I canceled the 2 domains within 3 regulatory days. I have been refunded.

    Today, I was able to transfer the “.com” domain to another host but not the “.fr” one.
    It is indicated “this domain is parked”. I can’t do anything in my account.

    What can I do in this case ?

    Hi there,

    It seems that if you cancel a .fr domain it does not enter the same cancellation path as .com domains, and thus is not immediately available to re-register.

    Do you wish to recover the domain here at WordPress.com so that you can use it with your OVH site? Please let us know and we can send an invoice for you to pay for the registration (since you were refunded the first time you registered) and then we can start the recovery process.
