This Domain is Parked/Mapping an Expired Domain

Hi, there.
I recently cancelled my domain, thinking I won’t use it again in the future. However, I changed my mind after a few days and tried to get it back. I couldn’t find a way to do that. I would appreciate any help towards that.
More importantly, my old domain (emaduka.com) has been parked and doesn’t redirect to my free plan: theeleazarmaduka.wordpress.com.
I have two questions:
1.) Can I still recover my old domain? And how can I do this?
2.) Can the old domain at least map to the free plan? Is there a way for this to happen?Thanks. I anticipate any help I can get.

Do you still want the domain for your site here on WordPress.com, or do you plan on using it somewhere else?
If you want to use it here, I can send you a link to pay for the domain only and then restore it. But keep in mind in that case it will only redirect to your free WordPress.com address. To actually have the domain be what people see when they view your site, you will need a plan.
If you want to use it somewhere else and willing to wait a few days, the domain should become available again in about a week, at which point you can register it directly at the provider where you want to use it. If you prefer not to wait we can still restore it manually as above as well, and then help you point it to the other provider.
Let me know what you’d prefer.
