‘This domain is parked’ – why???

  Hello,

  My old domain url expired a few days ago and I did not want to renew it. I want to use my personal wordpress url for free. However, now when I try to enter my blog through my personal wordpress url, it says ‘This domain is parked’. Can someone help?

  Hi there,

  I am able to visit findingjc.wordpress.com without seeing the message. It may have been a period where our system was updating that the domain was no longer connected to your WordPress.com site, hence you seeing the parked domain message. But, everything appears to have updated now.

  Let me know if you are now able to see the site from your end.

  Yes, it works now. I think for some reason my findingjc.wordpress.com url was linked to my old domain url on Chrome. So every time I tried visiting the new wordpress url, it would redirect me to my old domain. I just cleared my browsing history and it works now. Thank you!
