This happens frequently. WordPress deletes all the content of my post.

I spend half a day writing a post. Then I hit publish. It says published. Then I hit edit, so that I can add categories (you cant do this when you are authoring the post). Then I hit save. now my post looses ALL its content. Just the title is left. If I look at history, it is blank. This happens every 3rd or 4th post, and I have wasted days on this truly devistating bug. it has been this way for at least a year. When are you going to fix it?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@rkdandelion I answered you on your own thread at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/new-blog-post-publishes-blank/ Please follow up there.

    – Hi there, it is possible to add both categories and tags to a post prior to publishing it. If you are using the MY SITES Editor, you should see the module in the right sidebar of the post in the Editor. (temp screenshot)

With regards to losing your post, let me repeat what I wrote to rkdandelion:
One thing that might help to know is how you are writing and publishing your posts. Are you writing online in a web browser or in the WP app? If in a web browser, which one? Are you writing in the MY SITES Editor or the WP Admin Editor? Are you using the Classic Editor interface or the new Block Editor?

If you are using a web browser, I’d also suggest going through our troubleshooting guide here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ specifically making sure that both javascript and 3rd party cookies are enabled.

Also, do you manually save your post at some point?
