This is a FAKE / SCAM website
-
My name is Cecily Quintana, owner of Quintana Galleries in Portland Oregon. This fake site was set up on your platform, using images from my legitimate website and offering my works of art at deeply discounted prices. This is a fishing site looking for contact information and credit card information from unsuspecting buyers.
This site must be taken down immediately. I’ve been receiving a lot of emails and a lot of phone calls from people who are accessing this site and I will hold world press responsible if anybody’s credit card information or personal information is used illegally.
I appreciate your immediate response and thank you for your help and taking this site down.

Hello,
I understand this situation might be concerning for you, and I appreciate your reaching out. It’s crucial to clarify the distinctions among the various versions of WordPress to prevent any confusion:
- The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
- WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can freely obtain the software for use on your chosen hosting provider.
- WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.
I want to inform you that the website quintanagallerie.shop is not hosted with us, so there’s nothing we can do here. However, I’m here to guide you in the right direction to seek assistance.
You may consider reaching out to the current hosting provider to address your concerns, as this likely violates their hosting Terms of Service. If you’re unsure about the hosting provider, you can use a service like Hosting Checker (https://hostingchecker.com/) to find that information.
Additionally, you may contact the current domain registrar for similar reasons. A WHOIS search for the domain indicates that the domain registrar is https://www.webnic.cc/. They have a contact link at the top of their page that you can use.
I understand how challenging this situation can be, and I hope this information helps you take the necessary steps. Best of luck in resolving this matter, and please feel free to ask if you have any further questions or concerns.
