  I want to email someone in support, not post my question for general public input. I don’t want to go through 5 steps and then have to submit a question to the community in order to go through the support process. If I wanted to do that, I would just do that anyways. At least put a link at the bottom of the page that says “want to just ask a tech person a question? Email us here”

  There is a contact link but Staff disable it on weekends and on holidays.

  And, bad news, it generally only dumps you here. They’ve been cutting back on paid support for months (or not expanding it in line with user growth).

  You can indeed email them at support at wordpress dot com but there is no guarantee they will ever get back to you.
