This is my 3rd attempt to get WordPress to explain their billing procedures. Why can’t I get a straight answer?

  I have just received another notification from WordPress that ‘The domain leanstartupmentoring.com costs A$24.00, and it is set to expire in 36 days, on June 21, 2018’. And, ‘For a limited time, you can upgrade to WordPress.com Premium for only A$62.00’ Can somebody please explain WHY WordPress is jacking up the price I have paid for the last couple of years?

  Hi there,

  We are not increasing the price. As the email says, this is an upgrade offer, not a renewal price.

  If you want to just renew your domain at the regular price of A$24 you can do so. But you also have the option of purchasing the Premium Plan, which normally costs A$120, at A$62 instead if you upgrade now at the same time as renewing your domain.
