I purchased the domain name through GoDaddy. But WordPress won’t accept it. It continues to have wordpress.com as a suffix. The email connected is not working so I need to be contacted at (email visible only to moderators and staff). The DNS route is wrong. When I redirected the DNS from GoDaddy to WordPress the email became unaccessible. I need help. Please!
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: UnknownThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Is this regarding authorannestone.com?I am not seeing the domain connected to a WordPress.com account. However, you were seeing the .wordpress.com subdomain as the primary address because primary custom domain is a feature that comes with a paid plan. Without a paid plan, the custom domain will forward to the .wordpress.com subdomain.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.

Sorry I just saw your reply. I did pay for an account. On Feb 7 via PayPal. $48. This is why I am so frustrated. I just keep going in circles.
Transaction ID: [redacted]

Hi there,
I was able to pull up the upgrade associated with that transaction, and it is under the account writerannestone. If you can log into that account, you can access the personal Plan and domain connection subscriptions.
Hope that clarifies things. Let us know if you have any other questions. -
Oh crap! okay is there a simple way to switch the domain name to the one I own?
It should be authorannestone.com not writerannestone.
Thank you~~~

I can’t log into that one. when I try to log in it says I don’t have a site yet. I did build a site but I have no idea
where it is now.

Hi there,
I can confirm that authorannestone.com is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your @authrannestone login. If you do not recall how to log in to your other account you can fill out the form here to get assistance from our Account Recovery team: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
On that form you will be asked to provide a transaction ID for your purchase, which you can typically find on your credit card statement. More info on how to find that here: https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id
Once you are connected to the correct account we are happy to help you with managing your account. Thanks!
