  • We have absolutely no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

If you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we should be able to help you with this.

If you the charge is located using the above site, but you are not presented further options, please contact us via https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=charged

I was charged $18.00 for something and have yet to have an answer. I have been pinged back and forth through support pages, I have entered all the information I can. I have since disputed the charge on my credit card due to lack of answers from WordPress.

Hi there, you’re posting from a very new account that is less than a week old. Is it possible you have another, older WordPressdotcom account that has an upgrade, like a custom domain name registration?

Did you put the charge details in the secure website at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ as staff-blorbo recommended? That is the quickest way to check.

I understand what I am posting from, and what I signed up for, which was a free blog site last week. I haven’t had a WordPress account in years. I cancelled one I paid for years ago. So why I would be charged again, without my consent or any notice, or even entering my credit card information is extremely off putting.

I was contacted that no charges were affiliated with my current email address.
I have taken every step to figure out what this was and attempt to speak to someone, I get the same response. I have already utilized this link, I have already filled out the contact support forum boxes, I have since disputed the charge on my credit card. I no longer wish to be contacted about this matter.

As mentioned, the charge did not come from this account. It has to be associated with a different user account which would require a different email address too. As policy we send several notifications and reminders out ahead of renewals being processed.

I would like to help you find the correct account so we can evaluate the charge and process a refund. But we just don’t have enough information at this time to do that.

When you visit https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ there is a contact support option on the bottom of the right hand side of the page. Complete that form. It is sent to our payments team that can further assist you.

Otherwise, we need to know what site you were billed for, or what useraccount is associated with the charge in order to find it. I’d suggest checking all of your email accounts with a WordPress.com search to see if the emails are in spam or other folders, like promotions.
