This is taking the piss. Email change failure

  I own a blog. I have struggled to change emails since last year. I finally create a new one and WordPress will not link the two so I cannot access my blog, or publish. This is ridiculous. I no longer trust WordPress with my blog or material as it is completely incompetent. There is no option to connect the two and I cannot use my old email which I have now shut down.

  I’ve checked your account and I can’t see a pending changes of email address listed on the Account Settings page — the account you are contacting us from also hasn’t created any blogs on WordPress.com yet. What is the address of the blog you are trying to change the email address for?

  If the site uses WordPress.org software (a separate entity from us) with another host, the WordPress.org support forums will be the best place to ask for advice:
