  Please someone respond!!!! It’s been over a week!!!!! Why doesn’t my blog show up when I do a search both within wordpress and on google??????

  Your blog will eventually be indexed by search engines unless you’ve chosen to block them under Settings->Privacy. It’s up to Google to decide when and how to include your site in search results. We have no control over that.

  Google provides information and tools for webmasters. You might find further information there.

  As for our own search engine, it’s more of a content discovery engine. It only searches through post content, so you won’t find anything if you search by title or name.
