THIS SITE CANNOT BE ACCESSED
-
I went to edit a blog post today, and on the main page where you can access settings/blog posts/pages etc…, there was a red exclamation mark saying that my site could not be accessed. After researching, everywhere was saying that I had to disconnect my site. Trusting the forums, I disconnected my site, but now I can’t access anything?!!! Have I lost my entire website? Please help because this website is 2 years of my life
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @thebibliophilegirluk,
Are you referring to this website – http://www.thebibliophilegirluk.com?
I checked and the website is live, same as the login page for the dashboard.
Or are you referring to this – https://thebibliophilegirluk.wordpress.com/
Regards,

I’m referring to http://www.thebibliophilegirluk.com. The site is live but I followed forum suggestions and it was telling me to disconnect my website. So I did that and now I can’t access anything. I’m scared that I’ve lost 2 years of hard work.

How did you disconnect it?
I am looking at that website now and it is live and active. Please clarify more of what you mean by cannot access anything. Do you mean, you cannot login to your Dashboard?
Your website is hosted by BlueHost, you could get more help directly from your host – bluehost.com.
This forum is for users with websites hosted by WordPress.COM.

I went onto settings, and then it said ‘disconnect jetpack from site’ and I clicked that, and then it said my whole site was disconnected from WordPress. And yes you would be correct, I cannot access my dashboard where I can edit and create posts.

I understand – it didn’t damage your website. You only disconnected your self-hosted WordPress site from your WordPress.com account. See more information about the difference from this link.
You should still be able to login to your WordPress Dashboard using the link below:
http://www.thebibliophilegirluk.com/wp-admin
You can use the “Lost Password” link if you forgot your password.
If you want to reconnect your WordPress.com account to your self-hosted WordPress site, you can use the Connect Jetpack button on this page:
http://www.thebibliophilegirluk.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/
You can find more information about Jetpack from this link.
In the future, you can get better help about your self-hosted WordPress site from this forum.

When I click on the link to connect jetpack to my account, it says I cannot access the page. Everything is going wrong. I am so sorry

I think it’s time for you to contact Jetpack support directly. You can use the link below:
I am also tagging a WP support, you will find the tag “modlook” on the right, in case they have more to suggest in connecting your WordPress.com account.
I hope this gets sorted out.
