    Hi,

I have a self hosted wordpress site with Jetpack installed, and it’s connected to my wordpress.com account. I can view my stats from both my self hosted admin panel and from the WordPress.com panel.

On the wordpress.com panel, I have a message next to my self hosted blog name “This site cannot be accessed. Disconnect Site.”

How should I resolve this? I’m reluctant to try disconnecting my site and reconnecting just in case I lose my stats and followers – or is this not a risk?

I’ve tried logging out and back in, clearing browser cache, and using a different browser with no luck.

I don’t know how long I’ve had this error – I’ve only become aware of it now because I’ve received an email saying that I’ve got a follower, but from my wordpress.com blog and not my self hosted blog (as I’d prefer), so I thought I’d check into the wordpress.com panel to see why that was the case; ideally when I comment and like other wordpress sites, it’s done so from my self hosted site blog, and not my unused wordpress.com blog.

I changed my host provider a couple of months ago – would that have caused this error?

My self hosted site url is http://www.time2timetravel.com
    Wordpress.com site url is http://www.time2timetravel.wordpress.com

Many thanks in advance for any help,

    Paul

OK, problem solved…I needed to frist disconnect my blog from WordPress.com panel, and then from the jetpack plugin, then reconnect my site using the jetpack plugin.

I still have all my stats and followers, and even all of my jetpack settings have been preservedl

Error message has now vanished and subscribers can once again subscribe to the correct blog. Phew!

Now that the blog is connected correctly, I can set it as “primary” and comment and like as my self hosted blog.

Hope this helps someone who has the same trouble I did!
