This site can’t be reached

    Hi,

    It has appeared to me that my website is down. It has not happened before. I am not an advanced user and I don’t recall to have added plugins. Even so, I haven’t updated the website recently. Error message: This site can’t be reached; ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

    It seems to work now. I haven’t changed anything or made any settings. It was down for at least 15 minutes. How to avoid further outages?

    Hi there,

    There hasn’t been any outages on our end, so this was either an issue with your local network, for example, something stuck in your router’s network cache, or an issue at your ISP – a timeout error means something is interfering with the connection between your browser and our servers, and isn’t an indication of anything wrong with your site itself.

    Next time this happens, try clearing your browser cache, and unplug your modem/router for a few seconds before rebooting it, and if that doesn’t help, check if your site loads via a different internet connection if possible.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

    When the issue appeared, I tried both from my PC and mobile so I tested it with Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Cellular connection – it didn’t load on either of them. Other webpages were loading as normal.
