This site can’t be reached

  Hi there. I want to update my site http://www.jonathandoidge.com.

  I can log in to it ok, but when I click on anything such as pages or media, it pauses for a few seconds and then shows the screen:

  This site can’t be reached

  http://www.jonathandoidge.com took too long to respond.
  Search Google for jonathan doidge admin edit
  ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

  This has persisted now for a couple of days and is very frustrating.

  How do I resolve it please?

  Hi jonathandoidge,

  It seems this site is http://www.jonathandoidge.com is not hosted with WordPress.com.

  There are 2 versions of WordPress. What we do at WordPress.com is a bit different from the installation of WordPress that you use with a hosting company.

  You’ll want to post at wordpress.org/support/ for help with this site.

  Things that I might also check before getting in touch with support is details about your site like where it is hosted, which plan are you into, theme that you are using, list of plugins that you are using as it will be helpful in determining the root cause of the issue.
