  Hi,

  I have no idea what happened but I can’t log into my wordpress.org usual dashboard. I have a wordpress.org site at http://www.soobeautis.com and when I logged into the dashboard, I can’t add posts or edit the theme. My old wordpress.com site was https://soobeautis.wordpress.com/. I received this message “This site is not connected to WordPress.com. This site is not connected to WordPress.com. Please ask the site administrator to connect.”

  Hi huyenle395,

  soobeautis.com was created using WordPress.org software and is hosted by SiteGround rather than WordPress.com:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  The Jetpack plugin creates a connection between self hosted sites and WordPress.com, meaning soobeautis.com can be managed through your account here. You are seeing an error message because that connection isn’t working at the moment.

  If you haven’t done so already, please deactivate and reactivate the Jetpack plugin and then connect to WordPress.com again. The Jetpack support team will be the best people to contact if that doesn’t help:

  Hi there,

  In order to login your WordPress.org site via WordPress.com, you need to install the plugin called “Jetpack” to your self-hosted site.

  When you visit the login page for this site soobeautis.com it shows:
  “Login with WordPress.com” is this what you’re talking about?
  You’ll also find the option which says OR “Login with username and password”
  The make sure you select the second option which is “Login with username and password”
  That will allow you to login without getting to WordPress.com

  “This site is not connected to WordPress.com. This site is not connected to WordPress.com. Please ask the site administrator to connect.”

  This is because your site is not added or connected to WordPress.com
  soobeautis.com

  And if you’ve issues with self-hosted WordPress.org site you can post your queries in WordPress.org Forum.
