'This site is temporarily unavailable'
-
I just created a Blog on wordpress. Bought a domain through godaddy. Mapped my domain through wordpress and ‘this site is temporarily unavailable’ comes up when you type in the web address. I’ve given it over 24 hours to see if time would fix it, and it didn’t. I activated it through email as well. What am I doing wrong?

Hello there,
The site linked to your username producing that message is http://thebensonbackyardhomestead.com/. Have you taken the correct steps to map to an existing domain?Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although thebensonbackyardhomestead.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below. We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYour name servers are as follows:
NS09.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS10.DOMAINCONTROL.COMIf you have access to change the nameservers for this domain, please remove all nameservers not on the required list above.

After you set the nameservers correctly it can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site loading at thebensonbackyardhomestead.com, please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies, and try again.
Know that it is not uncommon for your own ISP to be last to flush their DNs cache. You can view the DNS changes here > https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/thebensonbackyardhomestead.com/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.
I’ll also tag this thread for a Staff follow-up to be sure you suceed.

Good because if the nameservers are not properly set to
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
your domain mapping will not work. -
Hi there,
Your site is correctly loading at your domain for me, so it looks like you managed to get this working. Let me know if you need any more help with this.
