"This slideshow requires JavaScript" ERROR –> (admin-bar-v2.js:47)

    Need Help :-)

    All public posts produce this error “This slideshow requires JavaScript” ONLY when I am logged into the WordPress Admin at the same time. The error disappears when I “log out” of Admin.

    This just started occurring after I updated several plugins, and one was Jetpack… so not sure if related.

    * WordPress v 3.5.1
    * Jetpack Installed
    * Genesis Framework with Child Theme
    * All plugins up to date
    * Google Chrome v 26.0.1410.64 m

    1) EXAMPLE URL = http://bit.ly/18dWO7U

    2) POST HTML ERROR (When logged into Admin)

    <p class=”jetpack-slideshow-noscript robots-nocontent”>This slideshow requires JavaScript.</p>

    3) JAVASCRIPT CONSOLE ERROR

    “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘match’ of undefined” (admin-bar-v2.js:47)

    LINE 47 –> var lang=$(‘#wpnt-notes-panel’).attr(‘lang’);if(!lang.match(/^en/)){src+=(‘&lang=’+lang);}
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘match’ of undefined

    I have reviewed all forum posts but cannot find this same issue. Can someone please assist?

    Many thanks!

  • Thanks very much for the detailed report.

    The “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘match’ of undefined” error should be resolved. Please try clearing your browser’s cache and reloading the page while logged into the admin & let me know how it goes.

    Thanks again!
