This transaction cannot be processed due to an unsupported currency

  hi, I’m trying to upgrade myfreight.wordpress.com and when I put in my credit card details I get the above error.

  I’m paying via AMEX. I’m in Australia.

  What’s the problem?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Marshall,

  So for AMEX purchases currently the currency has to be set to USD. However, that is not the case for VISA/MASTERCARD. So we can go about this in two ways:

  1) I can send you a manual payment request for the upgrade/renewal you want in USD, which you can pay for with your AMEX. Then, I can manually renew or add the upgrade to your account.

  2) If you have a VISA/MASTERCARD you should be able to pay for it with that directly in the store checkout.

  Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

  I was happy to pay in USD, but I’ll go and find a VISA/MC
