"this user is not authorized to create_users on this blog"

  Admin of our blog (preferredresearch.jp) sent me (@doipfn) invitation, but when I tried to accept the invitation the site shows “this user is not authorized to create_users on this blog” popup in red.

  Could you tell me how to resolve the problem?

  Howdy doipfn!
  To be able to add users, this is the guide which is to be followed,
  Considering he is the Admin, he should be able to do it comfortably,

  Also, make sure the correct role is assigned look at the support document here https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

  Hi, thank you for help.

  Actually, the account who invite me is the original creator of the blog (thus it should be an admin). May I ask you to take a look if permission is correct? Actually admin account has changed email address and the blog has changed mapped domain due to some technical restriction. Maybe we have screwed up something. Of course we’ve followed the path you’ve shown.

  The account is ‘preferrednetworks’ and the blog is on ‘preferredresearch.jp’.

  Hi Again!
  Thank you for the further inputs, ok, so while sending Invites just make sure, you are on the right site, that is if you have multiple sites, you can try and cross check if you are on the right site. On the Dashboard on the left-hand side top corner, there is an option to Switch Sites, so just make sure its the correct one.
  Also, just confirm me that and if you still are facing issues, we can escalate the issue to the staff to get their attention. Just update how it goes.
