  yeah, favicons would be nice.

  actually, there are a whole bunch of fields i’d love to add to the head of my blog (opensearch, meta description, geo.position, etc. )

  There is no wordpress custom favicon feature yet and no update.

  We can’t change the favicon at wordpress.com. A favicon is the little icon (image) to the left of a URL in your browser address bar.
