Thousands of errors re structured data

  Having checked Webmaster Tools following a big drop off in numbers visiting my site I see that I suddenly have over 10k structured data errors. These nearly all relate to the “hentry” data type and I was wondering what the best (and quickest) solution would be.

  The best and quickest solution would be for you to search in the WordPress.ORG support forum, as our answers here at WordPress.COM won’t apply to the version of software you are using.

  Hi Raincaster

  thanks for the reply. I am using a .com platform so have a limited amount of info I can change on my site and thought that the .org site details would not apply as they have access to many more features such as style sheets that they can change?

  Having now learnt some html and css I am wondering if it is a good idea to migrate the site at some time? Having built up a good library of articles over the last couple of years I was hoping the numbers would continue to grow as they have been

  Thanks, sorry about the misdirection above. I looked around and all I could find was this http://wordpress.org/ideas/topic/what-the-fuck-is-a-hentry but your feed validates http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=whatshotwhatstrendingnow.com%2Ffeed so I don’t think that could be the problem with the falloff in hits.

  Thanks for looking at the site. As Google doesn’t seem to like the way WordPress treats the hatom entry format I was wondering if I could change the site so it can no longer be sent as an RSS feed? This would solve another problem as I have found that there is a site which is ripping of all of my content via my RSS feed.
