Threaded comments?

First of all – I am Swedish, so please forgive me if my English isn’t top notch.
Secondly – I have searched these forums and the support section for any information related to my subject, but I haven’t found anything helpful.My question is this: wasn’t there supposed to be a new function in WP 2.7 allowing us to “thread” comments, so that you can clearly see how various comments and replies relate to each other?
I found this piece of text: “Threaded comments and paging comments are new features in 2.7, but do not affect this screen, just your public blog. Settings for these features can be found in Settings: Discussion.”
I have cleared my cookies and all, yet I cannot find any such setting under Settings: Discussion.
Could anyone help me out? The “threading feature” is what I’ve most been looking forward to with WP 2.7.

I think I saw something earlier today which suggested that threaded comments are still coming, just not today.

Yeah, don’t remember which thread, but a staff person said that they need to work out all the kinks within all the WP themes, before threading is implemented.

Some themes number the comments, which isn’t much, but it’s something. I think Andreas9 does this.
