    Hello there. I have received 2 threat messages on my blog from (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) demanding money by 1st June, otherwise they will misuse my domain. I have qouted the comment below and need help with this ASAP. Kindly fix this.

    Hey. Soon your hosting account and your domain khhcayurveda.com will be blocked forever, and you will receive tens of thousands of negative feedback from angry people.

    Pay me 0.5 BTC until June 1, 2019.
    Otherwise, you will get the reputation of a malicious spammer, your site khhcayurveda.com will be blocked for life and you will be sued for insulting believers. I guarantee this to you.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, so we have no control at all over your site.

    But there is also nothing to fix here. This is a message that was submitted via your site’s contact form. This person has been submitting thousands such messages on contact forms on sites all over the web, not just on WordPress.com. On WordPress.com and on sites using the Jetpack contact form, our spam filters blocked the vast majority of these. The Bitcoin address they used has also already been reported for abuse by a large number of people.

    This is a scam, and you can just ignore it.

    If you’re using the Jetpack contact form, go to WP-Admin ->Feedback ->Feedback, and mark it as spam there.

    If you’re using another contact form plugin, please contact support for that plugin to find out what spam filtering options they have.

    I also received yesterday 7 messages. I do not have contact form.

    I removed the message from your comment. There’s no reason we need to have the whole message in multiple comments on the same thread, and it caused your reply here to be marked as spam.

    In your case it looks like those were submitted via your comments section. My answer about this remains exactly the same, though.

    This is someone trying to scam you. They’re targeting thousands of sites, because if only a few hundred people fall for the scam and pay them, they’ll make a ton of money from this.

    Mark any comments with this as spam, and our spam filters will get better at blocking them completely. Beyond that, just ignore this.
