THREE SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT

Sometimes a change is not an improvement, and I bring three of them to your attention.

    1) A while back you dropped having the date plus the time with each post. Now since the only way to order or re-order posts is to change the time and date, this change has proved very awkward for large blogs like mine.

If I have, say, 40 posts for a given date, I have to scroll up until I find the date associated with each post. It is very awkward when you are working with blogs of many, many hundreds of images.

Could you change the date system back to being with each image?

2)The new screen which comes up after every post – the screen with the division and the blinking dot – is absolutely annoying. The blinking dot and the star etc seem designed for twelve-year olds. The former simplicity is far better.

3)When I am reviewing reader comments on the dashboard page of a blog, I used to be able to go directly to the post with the link next to the reader’s comment, but now you cannot. The previous way of having it was preferable for several minor reasons.

    Thanks.

  • 1. I’m not sure what you mean here. You can still edit any post and adjust the date and time. As far as it being displayed on your blog, that’s controlled by the theme you’re using.

    2. There’s more there than just the star. We have tag suggestions, and more features to come.

    3. When viewing a comment in the Dashboard, click “Submitted on [date and time]” to go directly to the comment.
