Throttling comment emails

  I sometimes comment on WP posts. Sometimes it’s on a very popular blog and if I elect to receive notifications of posts, then they can come in every few seconds. SUrely there should be an option to – say – get one post every 24 hours if new posts have been made instead of one post every few seconds?

  You cannot set the frequency of comment receipt on posts you subscribe to receive comments from. You can only do that for receipt of posts from blogs you subscribe to receive posts (not comments) from.

  I do, as well. I stopped following comments because at times it was overwhelming.
